There are few people better positioned to provide you with counsel with regards best and leading practices in the world of sourcing than Dr. Andrew Cox.
I was fortunate enough to receive a visit from him recently and wanted to make sure that I got him to provide me and the BNS community of negotiators with some insights that could assist us in improving our negotiation results within a supplier/buyer context.
Andrew was the founder of the first ever MBA in Strategic Procurement Management at Birmingham University in 1993 and he is a strategic adviser to blue chip companies and major public sector organisations in procurement & supply chain management across the world. Holder of the Swinbank Medal, for Outstanding Services to Purchasing & Supply in the UK, he is also a founder and the Chairman of the Advisory Board for the International Institute for Advanced Purchasing & Supply.
To see what Andrew thinks of the typical strengths & weaknesses in sourcing type negotiations as well as to learn more about what you can do to address weaknesses in your sourcing strategy & process, watch the 25 min video below.
